5 String Acoustic Electric bass with High C string

I'm thinking about getting a 5 string Michael Kelly Acoustic Electric bass. I want it to be a little more guitar like and I don't really use the low b string so I was thinking that I could put a set of strings on it with the higher c string on it instead. Does anybody see any problems with doing this? I've heard of it done on regular 5 strings but I'm not too familar with acoustic basses.
