*** PLEASE NOTE - THIS INSTRUMENT HAS BEEN SOLD ***

FS: 5-String Merchant Vertical Bass (electric upright) Full 3/4 size maple neck, really nice ebony fingerboard, 41" scale, mahogany body. Electronics: Barbera transducer bridge pickup with volume pot. Also includes an Underwood pickup I sometimes switch off with. Adjustable bridge. Removable upper right bout. Grover tuners. Thomastik weich except for the low B, which is wein.

Excellent condition. Note: has a number of small screw holes made by previous owner on the back and sides of the instrument to mount a brace he used to help balance it when sitting. I removed it. Bill Merchant filled and refinished the holes when he serviced the bass after I purchased it. Hard to see, no effect structurally, but I feel I should mention it.

For more info on the bass see http://www.merchantbass.com/vertical/verticalhome.htm

Asking $1400.00. (new price is $2750.00) Prefer to have you try it and purchase in NYC, but if you're really interested, can live with a no-return policy and live far away from here I'll ship it (you pay.)

    Thanks for looking!

    Hi Rick,
I'd be interested to check the bass out (does it come with a travel case by the way?). I am in Brooklyn, how about you? Feel free to email me privately at jazzbass72@hotmail.comNOSPAM
