    Price:
    650
    Strings:
    5
    Location:
    Pennsylvania
    Howdy

I have this quilted maple top ray 35 that needs a good home. It is the sterling brand imported stingray. It has been played but not abused and still plays like brand new. There is one small ding in the body, almost perfect otherwise.

It comes with the factory gig bag and tools.

I would love to trade it plus or minus money for a fender jazz or something interesting. Or straight cash is good! Face to face deal only near 19056 Levittown PA.

Damn thats a fine bass. Any interest in a ibanez sr 1800 possibly?

I never considered playing an ibanez but those 1800s are pretty. I imagine it's a beefy modern tone and super playable kind of like the ray35. Did you end up throwing a new pot in it or does it need wiring work?

I have some interest from a dude with a 1982 american jazz but he might want too much bread on top. I hope you don't mind being second in line- if we don't work something out by next monday I'd love to check out your fancy soundgear.
    Thanks

Yea I fixed the pot issue. And it really is a jazz bass on steroids. Not sure if i even want to trade?

What kind of 82 jazz? Colors and fretboard etc. maybe we can work something out in a 3 way trade cause ive been looking for a vintage jazz

I ended up trading for a prs kingfisher. Pretty even trade- both $800ish retail, the prs has less resale value but better fit and finish with new strings and an amazing setup.

    Thanks for the interest talkbassers!
