My low b is 135 and its really really really flabby. Any suggestions. I am ok with but will lighter gauge make it less flabby?

I have been thinking of la bella hard rocking 5 string wiht high c. Anyone using 5 string with high c, please give some info like why u use them, problems, comparing with low b whats the diff!!! How does the overall bass feel change. Dont know. Tell me your whole experience.

Lighter gauges will lower the tension, generally. There are some strings with large gauges that are lower tension, but as a general rule of thumb, the higher the gauge, the higher the tension.
