$500 or less Sixers

    I couldn't find what I was looking for by searching.

    I'm looking to buy a <$500 35" 6 string to the collection and am considering the following:

    ESP B206
    Ibanez BTB 406
    Dean Edge
    Brice Z6/HXB
    Peavey Grind

    I have reasearched each of them, and am familiar with what's passive, active and switchable. I'm hoping to get an idea from some owners of the versatility some of these offer. I've looked for and listened to sound clips on YouTube, even though most are 'play-alongs'.

    I'm looking for a a more mellow, less active sound. No metal or soloing or tapping or slap. The goal is to use it for more wandering Jazz type stuff. Thanks.
