500K vs. 250K in a Jaguar

    Hello,

    What is the difference in replacing pots in a Fender Jaguar bass with 250K vs. 500K? I've read that 250K is recommended but the bass that I'm doing the work on has 500K pots.

    500k pots will be slightly brighter.
