Fender Precision Bass. 1951 Reissue from Japan. "Crafted in Japan" with a Q serial number, which I believe makes it a 1993-94 model. Good to very good condition. Sets up easy and truss rod works fine. Currently set up with DR flats. Only condition issue to note is the overly wide holes for the pickup and bridge covers. Seems that someone used large screws or maybe double punched the holes years ago. Some light pick scratching on pickguard and front of bass and belt buckle area. Clean corners, sides and neck except for one tiny chip near the jack that isn't much bigger than the head of a pen. - 1.625 nut. Gloss finish. 50s Spaghetti logo. Tele headstock. - Slab ash body. Nice grain. - 9.5 lbs exactly. Average weight for these - Pick up cover - Seymour Duncan 1/4 lb single coil pickup (the best choice for the 51-55 reissues in my opinion) - Hipshot drop tuner (original included) - Dunlop straplocks installed. Comes with a sunflower design strap with the strap ends. - Comes with a nice Fender branded tweed gig bag. The pickup and pot cavities have been shielded. Very quiet for a single coil. Asking $535 west of Mississippi and $555 East thereof. No trades.
Really like the 51 reissue look. I have one, with the serial number R******,wonder what year the R,designates,if you don't mind,me interrupting your ad. Thanks
