51 P bass build help

    I need some help. I want to build or heavily modify a custom bass for myself without spending too much. I am in love with the 51 P Bass body shape, and over the years I've exclusively enjoyed the P/J pickup configuration (quarter pounders specifically). How can I get both of these concepts into one instrument on the cheap? Help!

    Warmoth has slab bodies and appropriate necks. Even 5 string versions.

    Schecters, 2 x Michael Anthony's, 4 x Model T's and the dUg Bass in back. Awesome quality and workmanship. Can't be beat for the $$, IMO.
