55-01 Standard... 2 pieces of ash or 3?

G'day all,

Is the Lakland Skyline 55-01 Standard made of 2 pieces of ash or 3, or are some 2 and some 3 pieces depending upon the circumstances under which a particular bass is built??? I've seen some that appear to be 2 halves bookmatched, and others that look as though they are comprised of a center plank with 2 "wings" attached (somtimes very unevenly, too).
