60 cycle hum....need help with grounding hassle.

  1. Figured I might hit up collective wisdom of all you rack builders for this one...My vintage, AC-powered Mutron III has a three prong plug in my pedal board that gives me a nasty ground loop. When it's AC plug is disconnected...the hum goes away. All connections un-balanced of course. All other boxes are connected via a MM CPR and Voodoo labs power supply. The 'Tron's AC plug is the only "fly in the ointment."
    Sorry to toss this into the amp forum but it seemed the best database for a question like this?
