This bass is olympic white with tortoise guard, in mint condition with covers and all the accessories. You want this bass... you need this bass...

What kind of preamp do you have in there or is it passive? Those knobs don't look stock. They look like what I have on mine which is set up with active EMGs.

That's the stacked controls from 1962. Passive.

Those are stock on the 62 reissue. Fender used a stacked Volume-tone for each pickup. The 62 reissue is actually a misnomer for the first run of Jazz basses most of which came of the line in late 61.

Pure goodness with those stock pickups man. They sound great to me. And the stacked knobs offer better control IMO.
Two of these would be such a perfect setup. You could have one with flats, and one with rounds.
How old, or new is she, and do you have any more pics?

First off, this bass is passive and bone stock. Nothing has been altered, even the blue plastic is still on the case latches.
As for trades, I would prefer a straight sale on this bass. I will try to shoot a couple more pictures tonight and post them.

Yeah I'm hip to the older stacked knob configurations. I was just referring to the knobs themselves. From the angle of the photo they looked a little taller and narrower than stock Fender knobs. Must just be the photo.

Beautiful bass for sure. I have an 89 CIJ that looks very much like this one. I love that white body with the tortise guard. GREAT vintage look!

Sorry, haven't had time to shoot new shots today. Perhaps tomorrow.
