'63 J-bass? I think not...

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by BASSnSAX, Feb 9, 2003.

  1. IM not even THAT stupid to think thats a '63

  2. Why could it not be a 63?

It has the pickup cover holes to be a 63.

I know it has a warmoth neck and all, but the body could verywell be a refinished 63.

  3. just out of curiousity, why would someone want a 63 where all the electronics, neck, and hardware are gone, and the body has been routed for a P pick-up and refilled. That is no longer a 63 even if the wood on the body might have been cut down in 63.

    Rip-off.

it's no longer a '63, but i'm sure it would sound great!
Old wood, old bodys just sound better.

Doesn't worth anything on the vintage market, that's for sure.
