All original 1966 Fender Jazz bass. As much as I love this bass, it really needs to go to someone who will play it regularly.

This is a rare transition era Jazz with the following features:

    - "Lollipop" tuners
    - Bound neck
    - Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard with Dot inlays

This bass is light and very resonant. All electronics are original and the pickups are strong. The neck is straight, set up with low action and is free of dead spots. The nut is original and the frets are in good shape. There is significant wear on the body and back of the neck, which doesn't affect playability.

The bass comes with a strap and straplocks installed. The original bridge pickup cover, thumb rest and strap buttons are included.

Original case, which has some damage, is also included.

Price does not include shipping. CON US only

  2. You might want to re-think your price, if in fact everything is original. Perhaps get an appraisal.

Agreed. I was able to get it for a good price and want to return the favor to the next owner.

Afraid I don’t know. The previous owner didn’t specify. I don’t believe they are original based on the pictures I’ve researched.

The small holes are in right location for a P-bass bridge cover. A previous owner likely installed one at some time.

Nice one! I'll bet the wear does affect playability - in a completely positive, inspirational way!
