Ok so I'm on a roll. 68 or 69 Tele bass obviously refinished. The body, neck, bridge and jack cup are original real deal. Body has scratches into the wood that look like fingernail scratches. The pickup is a Seymore Duncan Antiquity II and I really like it A LOT! Replace decal that says Precision Bass. This is a GREAT playing, GREAT sounding bass. Pickguard and pots are replacements too. 8.7 lbs. I really need to get rid of stuff, therefore the only trades are:
    $1300 shipped 48 states,
    Bluesman Vintage 4 string
    Reeves amp
    Hiwatt amp.

    Thanks.

I had one with a humbucker. I like the grain on the body,

Tim Bogart was an early idol.

Any markings that were on the bass were wiped off with the refin. (I didn't do it!)

I'm not sure as I didn't do the refin, but it is a thin finish.

I'M PUTTING THIS BASS ON HOLD AS I BELIEVE A DEAL HAS BEEN STRUCK.

Thanks to all of those who have replied

The features on this bass only happened in two production years at Fender.

I stand corrected. It is generally accepted that the majority of the basses with these features are '68 or '69. I like some of the references in the Wikipedia article....interesting!?!?
