i picked up a dean edge 6 string for 325 used...

great bass ( i use a dean as a main bass ) but the string spacing was just a little to tight for my P-bass-spacing hands.

nice B string on it, EMG HZ pups with dean pre amp sounds really nice, big tonal variations.

im still waiting for the day to get 8 string and string it 4 round wounds, 4 flat wounds just for fun.
  3. Check out the Brice 6 string. Lots of good feedback on it.

Anyone played the Schecter Stiletto Studio 6 and have opinions on it?
  6. I was actually thinking of picking up one of those for a backup/beater. I've heard that they're the best value for the money.

Id look into the sr506. Very good basses from what ive heard, versatile tone, great to play, looks a lot dearer than it actually is.

I recommend you go out and take one for a test drive :)

  10. I play one of those too and love it. It's almost got the tone of a piano.
