Has anyone tried one?
Are they worth the money, wellmade, etc...
Pics are always welcomed.
I don't own one, but I've played several of them. If you bought one, you WILL NOT be disappointed! I liked them better than some of the MIA P's.
Im thinking of ordering one from ishibishi in Japan.
Are they available anywhere else than in Japan since you have tried several?
I love the Japan stuff! My 54 Sting RI plays and sounds better than my buddy't 68 Tele bass.
I would love to try one out for a testride.
Check these custom colors out!
I dont know how to calculate yen into american dollars, could someone tell me?
I want this one!!
BTW, 90,000 yen is roughly $750.00
I'm trying to raise some extra cash and have one in mind BUT I'M NOT TELLING where. If I get it I will be sure to post about it. They put a 62 USA custom shop PU in them, which are awesome pups.
I like that deep red color that they have on that J-bass...I wonder if they would do that on my MIM P...and matching headstock.
It has the 62 PUP?
Thats great news!
70's reissued, maple fretboard, pu cover, US pu ....
I'm in love
I have a genuine 1978 precision bass which I have had from new and am trying to sell if anyone is interested ?
Natural wood , tortoishell plate , original chrome p/u and bridge covers.
There is a small crack (it was knocked over) at the top of the neck but it still plays great and stays in tune , I was told it could be repaired oe a new neck could be fitted but both would detract from the instrument's originality
Because of this I never use it so I may as well sell it , how does £350 sound , pm me
got any pics of that bass, or that crack?
just askin for now....
so, can anyone explain exactly why Fender doesn't think that these will move here in the US? I would buy about half the basses on that page....
You guy's are giving me some major GAS!
My all time fave bass.. just had to post this pic again, for all you p lovers
I think those pastel colors are so cool. Seafoam, white (especially when they age), salmon, sonic blue. Man, play some Beach Boys or Mowtown.
I own one (exactly the model you refer to).
It's an excellent bass, mine is quite as good as any MIA P-Bass I could play on. A great, great deal, IMHO.
Hope this helps.
