    Whats the deal?

the 700 is adversited as the lower model hence "700" but is more powerful? and more expensive?

Is it a sound sacrifice? How different are they?

If not at all, and power is an issue should i go 700?
  2. the 800rb has differnt tone sculpting than the 700 and the 800 has bi amping if that helps you at all

    Pakistani compound
Both amps have bi-amping, the 800 has a 100 watt seperate amp for highs and the 700 and 1001 have a 50 watt seperate amp. The 800 is not made to handle the RBH cabs w/tweeter due to lack of speakon connectios. The 800 puts out 200 at 8 ohms and 300 at 4 ohms w/100 on the bi-amp side (additional cab).the 700 puts out 380 at 4 ohms an 225 at 8ohms w/50 watts going to the tweeters

so the 700rb would give you more power through one 4 ohm cabinet ( ie the svt810e)?
  5. The 800RB lets you do traditional bi-amping. With the 700RB you can only bi-amp with the GK RBH cabinets. As far as the power output and loudness of the 2 heads, the 700RB puts out a little bit more but it won't be a noticeable difference. They do sound a little different so it should come down to a sound issue, not a power one.
