I bought an old Japanese copy the other day. The neck had a Fender Jazz decal on it, so I assumed it was a Jazz neck...it's not, it's a Precision size neck (1 5/8" nut). It's a great neck, straight as an arrow, truss at the heel. Feels good too and i'll keep it unless I can get someone to trade for a Jazz nut neck (1.5").

It is not a Fender. No serial stamp. Probably just someone who wanted to paint a matching headstock and slap a Fender decal on it.

Want to trade for a comparable Jazz neck. I would love to keep the vintage mojo going and just swap it for an old Jazz copy neck. The tuners on this neck are awesome, great relic pitting. I wouldn't mind keeping them and installing them on a different neck, but we can work that out.

Would you consider just selling it?

I suppose I would consider selling it outright for enough dough to buy a different neck.
