This is a great P bass that I put together with the SD Quarter pound P pickup. Also, I prefer the 70s style B width rosewood necks so this kinda turned out to be a Nate Mendel style bass but in a very cool Olympic White that has yellowed nicely. These were various parts that's I've had for a bit. I think the body is Ash, not sure of make. Neck is a Squire P neck with a 70s decal applied and a very nice vintage tint. Bass plays and sounds great. Very low action. Huge sound with the QP pickup. For sale or possible trade. Can't hurt to ask. Thanks ImageUploadedByTapatalk1401856803.499595. Some updates. The bass now has an actual Nate Mendel P neck on it and I've switched the pickup out to a vintage Dimarzio P. still have the SD quarter pounder if buyer wants it. Bass plays and sounds incredible. I've just ended up with too many Ps and just bought another amp.

This bass has a great 70s grind to it with the old Dimarzio. Little more grit than the SD quarter pounder but they both sound great. Your choice

  13. Any pics of the bass with the new neck? Weight? What is the origin of the body - overseas/ Squier? Is it Alder or basswood?

    Thanks

Bass weight (using bass plus me on digital bathroom scale method) shows 8.8 lbs. I've had this body for awhile so I'm not sure on the wood. I generally only looked at alder bodies though because of weight consideration. No markings on the body so no idea of brand/mfg. Does have a very nice tight neck pocket fit with the MIM Nate Mendel Neck. Neck is dead straight with very low action. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1407728679.510684. This one isn't getting used right now. Plays and sounds too good to sit. Possible trade for a micro head. Minimum 500watts

Any interest in a Fender Jazz MIM with Badass Bridge, EMGs, and tortoise shell pickguard? I can take some pictures if you're into it.
