Hello all, if theres anybody looking for a incredibly clean and original 73 p bass in the toronto area, the 12th fret has just gotten one in. I played it this morning and I can safely say that it is one of the most smooth basses i've ever held. There are literally no big nicks or scratches to be seen.

I was told it has been in somebody's closet all these years.
It's going for 2700$ but im sure you can talk them down a couple hundred.

    $2,700.00

IIRC, I paid about $330 for mine, new, in '73. 818% inflation is nothing to sneeze at, but I reckon other things have gone up even more.

If it is as in as good a shape as TheDistrict says it is, it will go for $2700. The 12th Fret is a very reliable organization. They check pots, necks, etc and if they say an instrument is 100% original, it is.

I bougfht a 1974 P from them a couple of years ago for about $2000.
