78 Jazz price check

    Hello, I can have locally the '78 US Fender Jazz bass for about $1800. Is it a fair price, steal deal or overpriced?
    I know it depend on many factors, I am just checking the general ballpark. Thanks.

    That's about right.

    Depending on condition, and it's hard to tell from your pic, they sometimes venture in $2K territory. Must be original though.
