    Bart started in '75. But "all original" and "changed the pickups" just don't work together - for me, anyway... :D

    Do late 70s Fenders really command so much "vintage" mojo? If I remember right even Fender's official history considers that to have been their darkest era...

    For me, not really. But that seems like a good price considering what I've seen others go for. Not that I even have that kind of money, but once I'm buying gear over $500 or so I need to start asking myself if I can make it back.
