    FOR SALE: 8 string Chapman stick bass Price: $1350

    8 string Chapman stick bass. 9.7-10 condition. Newer model, serial number # 1787. Tarara wood, tuned in 4ths low to high and wider string spacing, both features which make it easier to play than a standard stick, imho. EMG pickup module, steel fretrails, adjustable bridge and nut. Comes with OHSC, adjustment tools, strap, stereo y cable, etc. These sell new for $1900.
    Great tone.

    It is still available.

    I do have pics on my home computer but it just died so I can't get at them right now. It looks like a brand new one, in tarara wood (the light golden color). Only mark is a very small scuff mark on the tail end, not visable from the front and very small.

    Yes, I'm interested. I've got a mint Rick v63 I might offer in trade. I'd sure like to see the Stick bass first.

    Ok. I'll wait on the pics. No prob with the Rick. This model is currently out of production though. It has the horseshoe pick-up and dot inlays etc just like the 1963 model. Fireglow.

    I also have a set of Sonor delite drums - 5 pieces (4 toms and a 22" bass) I'm looking to move. This is one of Sonor's top end lines made in Germany with a birds-eye amber finish. Paid 2200 for them about a year ago. No snare or cymbals though. Thought I'd throw that one out.

    For trades I'm think more along the lines of a Sadowsky, Lakland, Elrick, Roscoe, G&L, etc.

    I'd prefer cash offers though.
