I haven't had this too long. Great bass, but I just found a EBMM Sterling HH that I just "had to buy". Serial number shows it to be a 1987 model. Currently has the active EMGs and the Mighty Mite Hazclone installed. No operational issues. Cosmetically, it's probably a solid 7 or 7.5. For being 30 years old, it's not bad at all. There is a spot on the neck (treble side) where the finish flaked off where it meets the fretboard. Someone tried to match it with some red stain. Not a very good job though. IMO. There's also some light scratching on the backside of one the horns. But, besides that only minor blemishes. From 5 feet away it looks very nice. When playing, the audience wouldn't see either. It even has the cool original Schaller tuners that say "W. Germany" on them!!! It will ship in the original HSC. That's pretty worn, but functional. Asking $600.00 shipped CONUS
I had an early 87 non serial number one of these. They are great basses and I prefer the neck on these to the newer ones. This will not disappoint. GLWTS!
