I know it happens, and has done to my other instruments, but I have just put the first ding in my favourite MIA dlx Jazz, which I've had for 4 years without a mark:(. - I was laying it in its case, when it slipped, and the edge of the body hit the aluminium rim of the case.

But you know the feeling when its the 1st ding on your baby...............

Still, better start playing the hell out of it now:hyper::hyper:

Always a bad feeling when that happens. It is one of the advantages(?) of buying used - they already come pre-dinged!

I got WAY more upset when it happened to my car! I vividly remember I nearly wanted to go out there and kill somebody

Yep, I count it as an advantage.
  9. I remember that feeling well. When I first for my 60th Ann P, I kept it in the case in my living room, laid across a chair so I could grab it whenever I wanted.

Not paying attention putting it away, smacked it into the metal rail of the case.

    Relic process started.

It's actually aging quite nicely now. I've been leaving it on a stand where it gets some sun every day, and it's already starting to yellow a bit.
