    8x10s or 4x10s and 115?

I was thinking of getting an avatar setup. The 4x10 and the 115. and hook that up to a carvin
    rl-600 head.

Get a carvin 8x10 and hook that up to a carvin
    rl-600 head.

Would I still be able to get a low tone from the
    8 x10s?

Everytime I go online I get myself crazy looking for a rig. There are so many options and I am so confused.

I suggest you factor in carrying the things in and out of vehicles, upstairs etc

I personally like a 4x10 (or 2x10) and a 1x15 you cann select one of the cabs for smaller gigs
  3. I just got a 2x15 and am thinking about picking up an additional 4x10.

I personally never liked 8x10s. They are too big, too heavy and don't fit in my car. If i ever thought I needed that much, I'd go with two 4x10s.

I always felt like a 1x15 wasn't enough, even in addition to a 4x10. Thats why I got the 2x15.

But, the 4x10 and 1x15 combo is good. It just wasn't what I was looking for.

Hey ChaosGwar what kinda 2x15 cab do you have?

As for my opinion on which rig you should get... well I wouldn't get either. I'd get a 2x10 and a 1x15 pretty versatile and portability shouldn't be a problem.
