    Hi guys,

I have an old Series 6 GP12 head and the 1048 cab.

Both are from 1990 and are in excellent condition.

I’ve been holding on to them for some years now even though I don’t use them (because they weigh more than a small mountain) But I feel like they may be classic and actually worth some money one day.

Am I wrong? Will they ever be a classic and sought after?

Or should I just clear them out of the cupboard and save the earache from the wife?

There are a lot of TE fans all over the world (myself included) but the UK is the epicenter of Trace. Lots of fans over there, so will always be able to sell an old green lead sled for a fair price, but I would not expect it to ever appreciate a huge amount over time. I suggest you keep playing and enjoy it.

  5. With scant UK bass amp production they might appreciate some after Brexit makes imports more expensive. Otherwise it will take bassists to come to their senses and appreciate raw clean oomph.
