For sale...'92 American Fender Jazz Bass w/ active electronics. $550

Serial # N2008847. GOOD CONDITION. Color is off-white w/ a maple neck and fretboard. Pictures available.

This bass has some flaws, dings, minor discolorations (not visible under most lighting) but those are what give it character, right? Overall, it is in great shape for being 13 years old, and the flaws are cosmetic only.

This bass has KILLER TONE. Outstanding low end, tight mids & highs, even w/ old strings. Bass has active electronics w/ Lace Sensor pickups. EASY TO PLAY with a very FAST 22-fret neck.

Bass comes in a contoured hard case, which appears to be its original case but there is nothing on the case saying "Fender." The case has a few scuffs and the back two metal feet are broken off, but it still stands upright. The bass and case are extremely lightweight.

Shipping is $45.00 (U.S. and Canada only) and includes insurance.

  5. Fender made a lot of weird basses in the 90s looking for a more modern design, but that one is classy. It looks like a Sadowsky Modern or something. Very nice bass.

    Hey, thanks, jenderfazz.

I am not the original owner, but I believe it is officially a Fender Jazz Bass Plus... if you read the Harmony-Central and BGRA.net reviews, they seem to describe this bass:
    http://www.harmony-central.com/Bass/Data4/Fender/Jazz-Bass-Plus-01.html
    http://www.bgra.net/2004/review.php?id=1756&type=bass
    http://www.bgra.net/2004/review.php?id=163&type=bass
    http://www.bgra.net/2004/review.php?id=209&type=bass

And cool name, jenderfazz--I am sure you will appreciate the name of my band, "Kill Bosby." ;)
