Today I was at Tap plastics getting window film and they had these neat little red 1 oz. cans that are just ever so perfect to house a Carlsson rosin cake in. No more rattling about in the old Pops can now.

That's really cool. I've been looking for something to keep my Carlsson in.

I tried to order though, and to get them to ship I need to order 10 :(

I just melt my carlsson down using a radiator, heated lamp, or in the summer the dash of my car, mold it into a good shape, and carry it around in an empty film canister. Give it a try.

Well, I didn't think of it either. It's my teacher's fault.

If you leave it in a pops' container long enough, it'll eventually fit the can perfectly . . . Mine doesn't rattle around at all any more (after about seven years melting and hardening in the container . . .)

Does Carlsson no longer come in it's own blue plastic container?

I think it depends on whom you buy it from, I've seen a few sites that look like they give it to you with the blue container, but I guess Bob G and other sellers don't. So I kept mine in a old Pops can in till I was at Tap and got the one I have for $0.35. And there it sits in the little red can for the rest of the winter time at least, because for the time being I've switched to Jade.

Now that Bob G has seen this site, you can bet they'll start coming in these plastic containers. ;) I've been looking for a supplier but was unsuccessful at finding any at a reasonable price, as the rosin supplier I was using stopped providing the containers.

What's the internal dimensions of the red (1 oz. I assume) one?

    THANKS! Bob

The internal dimensions of the red 1 oz are: 1 1/4" tall by 1 13/32" wide.

You might also dig these Lasons for balk with more color options.

    Cheers
    Aaron.
