Hey guys, i just defretted my Austin/Alvarez 5 string passive, and the Polyurethane is currently drying on the fingerboard (I'll give the stuff a weeek for good hardness). It looks like its gonna turn out pretty nice, I'll post some pics when I get them. A few questions though- is there anythign important to remember when I go back and put on the strings, etc. for the first time? I am currently using D' Addario Half-rounds (groundwounds) and they are pretty smooth, I like the feel/sound a lot. Should I switch to full-blown flat-wounds to prevent fingerboard wear, or will the half-flats be fine? Thanx!

    Even roundwounds will be fine.
