A funny little story.

So I got recruited to be the band leader for an old church that I used to play with. I was reluctant to accept at first because I'm not too keen on organized religion and I've found most of them (especially this church) to be way too controlling for far too little pay. The senior pastor was explaining to me how the band was in disarray, in need of guidance/leadership, and needed some personnel changes but he didn't quite know where.

Any who. The first rehearsal was a total clusterf**k. Nobody knew their parts, the timing was an abomination, one guitarist missed the rehearsal, and the over all musicianship utterly sucked. To remedy this situation I fired everyone. I guess the head pastor didn't like this too much because I received a phone call early this morning and was in turn fired. LMAO

I really don't mind being canned because I still get the full weekly salary that we negotiated upon. God bless contractual obligations. :D

No, He called the others and reinstated them. Though, he would really be better off with more mature musicians.
