A fussy big fat bottom....

  1. Time for you to chuck in your two pennies worth...or 2 cents i suppose!!!

I play a mint Status 4000, using just the back p/u and get a fairly good fat jazz quack. This is fine and of course guartantees at least two punters asking..."that's a great bass but isn't it broken?" at the end of every gig.

I've been looking to replace or add a second bass to this and am really struggling. I must have a great fat jazz sound (not that we play a single jazz number), have a nice flat neck, play fast and .....oh yeah I can't stand the following: Warwicks, Fenders, Ibanez, G & L, ..I'm looking at around $1200... Our choices are different in the UK, so I'd love to hear and International opinion or two..

    Best wishes
