    Hi from Verona, Italy :)
I have recently bought a Mesa Boogie walkabout head and a mesa boogie powerhouse 2x10.
    I haven't done a trade..so I have also my "old amplification" an ashdown 500 evo and a epifani ul-210.
I would like to have 2 setup:
-one for clubs and medium rooms
    -one for large places
The Mesa boogie system IMHO is FANTASTIC! and now, frankly, I don't like my "old" system.
Have You some good advice to build 2 setup?
It's, in your opinion, a good idea to sell the "old amplification" and to buy a Mesa 400+ or a M-Pulse 600 and a 1x15 Scout Bass Radiator™ Cabinet?
    Other suggestion?
    Thank You!!! :bassist:

  2. Hello from Michigan in the US.

If your Mesa 210 is an 8ohm cab, and you like the Mesa cabs and sound, just add another Mesa 210 or a Mesa 15. I had the Walkabout head at one time and found it to be a very loud 300 watts. With an 8ohm 210 and 8ohm 15, that should be plenty for all but the loudest gigs, and you can use a single cab for your smaller gigs.

I have heard some people running the Walkabout down to 2ohms (in case your 210 is a 4ohm cab), but that would make me a little nervous.

    Good luck!

    K

    Thanks Kjung...I have a 2x10 8ohm 600 watt...Should I have to buy a mesa 4 ohm or 8 ohm to use it with 2x10?

I haven't used the head or your cabinet.

But, I have played an M-pulse 600 through their 1x15 cabinet and it sounded awesome.

    I recommend following Kjung's advice.

    Get the 8ohm Mesa 1x15.

That way you'll be running 4ohms when you have it with your 2x10. You'll be getting the full power of your amp.

That setup should be very nice
