A good price for a used passive warwick corvette

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by Fletch, Aug 17, 2003.

  1. Just wondering.
I know of somebody selling one for $500 in mint condition. He also has a swr 350 watt head, not sure of the model, and a "triad" cab, he wants $400 for. What do you think?

  2. I've seen the passive go for 950 brand new if that helps at all?

  3. I sold a Corvette fretless 5 passive for 625

  4. Not the actual bass but you'd never know the dif. Not even any fret wear. The guy NEVER used the thing. The back doesn't even have any "buckel" marks.

I doubt you'll find one for $300 anywhere, although they can be found for around $450-600 fairly regularly. I bought a used fretless 4 in very good condition for $459 about a year back.

    if peteroberts sold a passive 5 for 625, id say 575, 550 for a 4.

Damn aussie dollar, you cant even get a BTB for that price here :bawl: The passive 4 corvetes are $1750 here :spit:

$500 in mint condition is one hell of a deal.
