A growlier humbucker?

I got a Modulus Flea with a Bartolini humbucker and Aguilar obp-3 preamp. Whilst obviously an excellent bass, I want the more growly tone of a good precision. I am considering a change of pickup - but which should I choose? This is a 4-string MM humbucker......

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

  2. I'm not sure about Precision-like, but I would imagine that a Seymour-Duncan MM pickup would be a bit more aggressive. Is aggressive what you're going for?

i have a modulus flea w/lane poor and originally a bart preamp... i ditched the bart and got an obp3. i love the obp3 very much. but in general youre going to get a clear tone because of the material used.
