Another obvious pickup line (ref. thread on “why is yours longer”?)
Whoever said being in tune was uncool?
It is at 445Hz - veering on the edge of caution there.
Someone once drunkenly assumed my TC Polytune was an iPod and accused us of faking the whole show. We did use some tracks but it wasn't a karaoke lip-synch like she thought.
Got to get those sweet Snark tonez
They are very good tuners for not much money, to be fair.
I always bring my talent booster
Maybe they meant when it was on and you were muted
It's named "Poly-Tune" so it contains all the tunes, right?
I saw that and had to have one. Talent Booster
All you need is the talent booster pedal and Leland Sklar's "Producer Switch".
I don't use effects pedals at all... one guy at a gig said my bass sounded sweet and wanted to know what effects I was using.... I said "Bass, low mid, hi mid and treble" - the 4 eq settings on my Fender rumble 500!
There's something to be said for the simplicity of that approach, especially when you're loading out at 1 o'clock in the morning after a long night on stage.
Truth. That's why I downsized my rig.
