A hidden treasure, Modern English.

  1. The album is called Modern English "After The Snow". "Melt With You" is a great tune, but the rest of the stuff on this CD is BETTER!

I've loved this CD for several years now, and I just thought it was time to suggest it to you guys. Musically, they sound a bit like Joy Division.

The bass player (sounds like a Precision) plays extremely well, and is VERY prominent in the mix for all tunes. Check out "Life in the Gladhouse" for fun with reverb/delay on a really cool, propulsive riff that totally drives the tune. The melodic simplicity of the line in "Face of Wood". The atmospheric playing on "Dawn Chorus".
