    It might sound good. It reminds me of an old Gibson three pickup bass that was out in 1970's.

    Well, keep in mind that it was a prototype and never made it past that stage.

    Does anybody know where to find a picture of the prototype of the Stingray?

    It had a Fender precision bass neck, a Fender Mustang bass bridge and Pickup and that typical Musicman bodyshape. Resulting in a unique looking bass, I wonder how it sounded, if it already had that Typical Stingray snap.
