  2. Never heard of it. Joins the line up of 12AX7A single tube hybrids.

Looks powerful for the money. Did you see the scratch and dent section? They got this 18" folded horn subwoofer for 249 clams.

    From the site:

"Check out madisonspeakers.com for more info and specs. Tube input using a 12AX7 and solid state output with a HUGE, shielded transformer and quality power supplies, the E600 drops a bomb on any bass rig it touches."

I know somebody here tried Madison. I remember a review of a sub-woofer they said was Killer.

They are working the McIntosh angle. I think I had a Madisound 18" cab once. Nothing really special about it. It looked like a Flitesound cab.

Pretty much anything with the name madison on it is going to be crap. One of my friends is in a band and he has a hartke head through a 210 and 115 madison. NASTY! And lousy bang for buck. I wouldn't touch one but just my $0.02

  11. Hey man, you must really hate Madison.

Which cabs do you like better: Madisound or Hartke?

I don't neccesarily hate madison that much it's just that it is so low quality that it's pathetic. Really muddy and nasty overall. I think there are far better options in the same price range, especially in the used category. If I had to choose between Madison or Hartke, I would choose Hartke but I think that they suck as well.
