A pedal or DI with active passive switch

On gigs I regularly use an active 5 string bass and a passive 4 string bass, so of course I plug the cable in either the correct active or passive inputs on the head when I switch basses.

What I'm wonder is if such a feature is available on any of the DI stomp box or other pedal, where I can step on a switch and it has the "normal" input for passive, and -12db input for active. Also wondering if the same pedal would have stereo output jacks.

    Thanks.

Turn the volume down on the active bass if it's a lot louder than the passive bass. I never use the active jack on my amps with my active basses.

There's also the EBS MicroBass II, which can take two separate inputs.
It has a lot of bells and whistles and is more expensive, the tonebone might well fit your needs better.

From what I hear, these are nice little units.

Raven is out of business and most dealers have blown through remaining stock.

I know this, but they still may fit the bill for what he needs. Sorry I forgot to mention that.

On occasion, these units do come up for sale, and they are still high quality units.

Thanks guys, those items are what I'm looking for. I'll have to see if I can find them locally.

Take a look at the boxes here: http://www.loooper.com

You can have them made in various combinations and have a tuner out that can be bypassed. They are worth the money IMO.
