A pill that prevents hearing loss?
Just read this story from Yahoo.com. Interesting...
You can get two at a time from Walgreens... they're called ear plugs.
Where did you think you were supposed to put them?
Some sort of Aural suppository?
Interesting. They're claiming that by taking anti-oxidant tablets, it neutralises the free redicals that damage your hearing.
I'm gonna keep an eye on this........
This really hits home for me.
My Father, who was a Marine, has lost a lot of his hearing over the years. It's gotten real bad the last couple, especially on the side he had the large artillery guns on when he was in Viet-Nam.
A bit of irony: I was born on Camp Pendleton, where they're doing the tests, as my father was stationed there at the time (Oct. 1964).
