a question about my Geddy Lee

    aight well i just wanted to know what was the difference between a "speacial editon" then to the normal ones? it was just made eles where and not in the US? Sorry i just notticed the back of the bass today... anyways thanks :D

    AFAIK they all say 'Special Edition' on the neck plate. Mine does, and so does every one that I have ever seen.

    are all of them made in China? i think mine says something like that on the back.

    I hope yours isn't made in China. They are supposed to be made in Japan. Mine is.

    i meant Japan i went into my room and checked it.. it does say Japan... but i remember someone said something about how there made either in the states or in Japan????

    They are all made in Japan.

    I had one and it said special edition on the back and made in Japan

    Oh aight well thanks for clearing this up for me and The Geddy lee is Awesome i just want to get EMG jazz pickups.

    Same here - Special Edition, "Crafted In Japan".

    Imma get some Fralin overwound pickups for mine!

    There is "special edition" on the plate because it is a signature model. moreover it is supposed to be a limited edition also. But they couldn't write "Signature model limited edition"(too long and cheesy:D ) they just wrote "Special Edition".
    AFAIK, all the Geddy Lees are made in Japan(or crafted in japan;) )
    I'll put Villex pups on mine(i'll have to put the jack location elsewhere, but I'm getting off the topic...:p )
