If I leave the chords plugged in will it drain the battery when the effect is turned off?

    another true bypass question:

when we say that apedal ist not true bypass, we mean that in bypass mode it sucks tone, or that even bypasses we hear some of the effect thats supposed to be off?

True bypass means that when the effect is off, the signal path basically goes directly from the input to the output. Non true bypass pedals signal path still goes through the entire effect pretty much, which can still alter the tone is subtle ways. Some people like that and other do not.
