A question for Tacoma owners

I bought a CB-10 AEB around 2 months ago. About 3 weeks ago, I noticed that the top began to separate from the side across a length of 1.5 inches. I had my luthier glue it down. It almost seems as if the side pulled in some, because there is now an edge where the top and side do not meet up exactly, and my luthier felt that he may do more harm than good trying to push the side out to match. I have sent e-mails to Tacoma, and although they have been forwarded to responsible persons, I have yet to hear back from them. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? It's fixed for now, but I wonder if I have a lemon. I'm not as familiar with acoustic instruments. I can say that I have taken very good care of it so far, including never leaving in hot cars. Any info from fellow Tacoma folks would be appreciated.
