OK, as many of you know, I played drums for a long time, 16 years, and started playing bass for physical reasons. Main one being that I couldn't swing a pair of sticks without tears streaming down my face. Bass is totally painless (minus some minor cramping due to being a beginner).

My problem now is that I think I want to sell my drums. I have only played them once in the past 6 months and it damn near killed me.

Any of you converters sell yours? Was it hard? It's kind of odd for me to think about. It's like breaking up a marriage of 16 years. But then again, I have a new love, the bass. *sigh*

I am not looking for anyone to make the decision, but just let me know what you did when you "made the change".

Keep the drums if you can. You will probably find yourself wanting to play them in the future.
