Hi, this is my first post on TalkBass :)

I know that some Epiphone bass guitars are semi hollow. Which of them are?
-Jack Casady's model, I`m pretty sure is
    -Allen Woody's model?
    -EB-3?
    -EB-0?

I played once, long time ago, an Epiphone bass and still now I remember its spectacular "like-acoustic-sound". Now I'd like to get the best of Epiphone, but with that kind of sound I felt in love years ago.

    :help:

    Thank you bass men!

  2. EB 0 & EB 3 are solid body. Now if you can find a Rivoli......

  3. Jack Casady and Violin bass are the only hollow Epiphones as far as I know.

Allan Woody is chambered hollow also. Try the Gibson Epiphone website for specs.

They made the Zenith for a year or two, it was a semi-acoustic bass w/piezo. Ed Friedland gave it a very good review.

Might find one of those used.

the Zenith is a hollowbody, too. other companies make hollowbody basses. Ibanez, Eastman, Dean to name a few.

The zenith looks cool but the local music stores here have not brought any in yet for us to try out. By the way Welcome to talk bass. It can be a lot of fun here.
