Okay I'll rephrase, there are no truss rods. string spacing is usually uneven (often between the D and G) and Wish himself is just about the worst (or most looked down on) Luthier in the business. The Wish I did hear was less than impressive to say the least. FInishes are also often rough too.

I agree with everything except that Wish is looked down upon. Give him time and he'll figure it out.

I for one have played one and it was indeed pure badness.

  8. I want a wish lol...........

I wish that a Conklin would arrive at my door!
But na seriously, I wouldn't mind one lol.
    Thanks

Wow, I'm impressed. Wish actually made a fretted -- how bad is the intonation?

  11. That Gecko on the board looks very Warmoth.

Me thinks he got some help on that one.

I thought the same, but check out the zero fret. Plus, Warmoth necks don't come with that many frets, or laminates. Or through-bodies.

  13. The fretwork is ok.....the intonation is pretty good tho i checked on the chromatic tuner and the notes seem dead on...

  14. They don't make 4 string Gecko necks, either, correct?

  15. NO guys i requested a mother of pearl gecko inlay to be put on the fretboard...kind of got the idea from warmoth but thought itd look good in mother of pearl and abalone

  16. How does she play and sound???

  17. play and sound are great i mean especially the play...really comfortable and light and it seems like thats a perfect 10...sound i give an 8 but still great value

    did WIsh bribe you?

  19. lol no i just think the playability is really good because i have big hands and the neck is huge so thats a plus. I also got different pickups set in aside from the kent armstrongs he usually had so i got the sound i wanted
