A silencing idea.PLEASE READ

    I just thought of something,what if you were to get a whole bunch of rack mount stuff in one big rack box,then hook it up to the cab (ofcourse).....BUT,you take a noise gate pedal IN BETWEEN the cab and the rackmount stuff.would that work or no??

    As long as the signal is line level and not speaker level. If the pedal was before a power amp, then yes you could, however if the pedal was right before the cab then no, because the power amped signal would be way to much for the noise gate to handle.

    Reduces un-wanted noise from effects units and your setup in general. Also reduces things such as hum, or hissing sounds lol. I'm not very technical me!
