    I've been futzing around on classical guitar more than utilizing it on bass these days. I don't actually have ramps on any of my daily players right now, although that's changing again with a pending build.

    Do you use ring finger when running straight 16ths? I just saw Kevin Freeby doing kind of similar thing but it's more resemblant of thumb-index plectrum-like picking.

    Depends. If I’m staying in groups of four on one string yes. If I’m doing triplets I’ll often skip the ring.

    Revisiting this after some practice :) does anyone use flatwounds with this technique?
