Picked up my new Mesa Walkabout today. Got a great deal from a local shop getting out of the Mesa line. I'm running it to an Avatar 410 Neo cabinet. Sounds really good. All I have been able to do so far is try the different settings recommended in the manual, but I am impressed with the flexibility of this amp.

If anyone has any suggestions or experiences they would like to share I would be interested in hearing them. I have waded through the Mesa and Walkabout mega threads in this forum and, in part, they helped guide my decision. So thanks everyone.

Nice amp - I've heard them with the Mesa cab and they sound great. Just keep playing with it (twist the knobs) so you get use to it - expressly in different rooms (move it into some other rooms) - that way, you’ll be able to dial in your tone quicker for any given band/room.

All dials @ noon, gain & master around 9-10 o clock, Semi-parametric all @ noon too. Play, and start turning the passive mid control. Try it every which a way. to me, it's the only eq knob I need to use 99% of the time.
